More about the Jeanneau Sun Fast 36
The Sun Fast 36 built by the French shipyard Jeanneau is a well maintained yacht of private owner. The design of Briand offers great fun because of the fine sailing characteristics and complete equipment, both above and below deck. The deck layout is practical and the placement of the Harken fittings is well chosen. All halyards and control lines are led aft to the cockpit. From the steering position, the sheets are at hand so the boat is easy to handle even solo and navigation instruments are easy to read mounted to the left of the cabin entrance into the cockpit. The genoa is on a furling system with the drum below deck. The sails are recent and in good condition and the set consists of mainsail (2009), original genoa, high aspect (2010) and spinnaker. The mast is firmly shrouded with rod rigging. The interior is made of high gloss teak. The layout is traditional with two sofas in the living room on either side and center folding table. There is some varnish work on the floor, but otherwise the interior shows remarkably little wear. Left of the entrance is an L-shaped galley with double sink, icebox, stove and oven. Opposite is the navigation area with switch panel and radio. There are two double bunks in front and aft. The head with sink is easily accessible and there is plenty of room to move. If you are looking for a fast and well sailing yacht for tours and perhaps regattas then this Jeanneau Sun Fast 36 is a suitable choice. The boat can be seen in Medemblik.
