More about the Rival 34

The Rival 34, designed by Peter Brett, is derived from the previous successful design Rival 32. The fuller body and the larger overhangs make the boat very stable and seaworthy. The Rival 34 of the designer himself, the 'Wild Rival', won the OSTAR singlehanded transatlantic race in 1976, and many other Rivals were successful in long distance regattas. The boat has a classic look with clean lines. The deck is spacious and easily accessible. All deck hardware is of good heavy quality. The engine control is installed left side in the cockpit, well within reach of the helmsman. The boat is well maintained and was always stored indoors. The interior is beautifully finished with dark teak and remarkably neat. The salon has two sofas with table in the middle. The galley is very practical and equipped with sink and cooking is possible on petroleum, or in the harbor shore with induction. Right next to the entrance is the chart table with the necessary equipment. The switch panel is directly below the entrance. There are 4 berths; two in the cabin in the bow, and two in the salon sofas. Left under the mast is the head with toilet and sink. The engine compartment is accessible through the removable cabin stairs where the 21.3kW heavy Nanni is located. This Rival 34 fully commissioned and attractively priced. For those looking for a stable and seaworthy yacht is a good choice. We invite you to come for a visit in Den Oever. Please make an appointment via [email protected].
