More about the Malo 42

The Malö 42 we are offering you is in very good maintained condition. She is suitable and ready for longer voyages. Everything about this yacht radiates Scandinavian solidity. The first thing you notice when stepping on board is the sturdy construction and the perfectly laid teak deck. The characteristic arch that Malo is known for spans the sheltered cockpit. The complete cockpit tent can be neatly folded against this arch within two minutes. All sails can be easily operated from the cockpit, the mainsail is fully vertically battened and rolls in and out of the mast. The advantage is easy hoisting and lowering, while still maintaining a good profile. The genoa is fitted on a furling system. So, pleasant and comfortable sailing. All necessary navigation equipment is mounted on the cabin roof and is easy to read. Stepping inside, you enter a spacious saloon finished with high-quality mahogany joinery. The galley is on the port side and the chart table on the starboard side. Here too, there is ample navigation equipment to prepare for your voyage. Behind the galley is the toilet, with a passage to the spacious sail locker. On the starboard side aft, under the cockpit, is a spacious double berth. Forward is the owner's cabin with its own toilet and a separate shower room. The 100 hp Yanmar engine is solidly installed and well insulated, so you hear little noise while motoring. This yacht deserves an owner with an eye for quality and detail. The current owner is open to trading in for another sailing yacht.
