The Standfast 47 is a luxurious, seaworthy sailing yacht known for its high build quality, excellent sailing characteristics, and timeless design. This ship is ideal for both long sea voyages and comfortable coastal cruising. Designed by legendary yacht designer Frans Maas, built by the renowned Dutch shipyard Standfast Yachts, this model guarantees performance, comfort, and reliability.
The deck of the Standfast 47 has been designed for optimal safety and ease of use while sailing, even under heavy conditions. The teak does need some attention. The cockpit offers a sheltered, safe place to stay. The interior is spacious and comfortable. In the stern, you will find a generous owner's cabin with its own en-suite bathroom. Amidships is the spacious chart table to port, and opposite it a large U-shaped galley. Further on there is a cozy saloon with comfortable seating benches on both sides and a table in the middle. Heading towards the bow, you will find a bunk bed to starboard, with the second bathroom opposite. And right in the forepeak is the second double cabin. There is plenty of storage space throughout the entire boat, and the central heating keeps the interior pleasantly warm on cold days. For longer trips there is even a watermaker (which does need to be checked again) and a newly installed 6kva generator from 2024.
A lot of equipment has been recently renewed so you can start your adventure on the water with full confidence. The ketch-rigged Standfast 47 is known for its excellent sailing performance. The yacht is stable, even in rough seas, and offers a good balance between speed and comfort. This makes the vessel suitable both for recreational sailors and for more experienced adventurers making long crossings. And should there be no wind at all, you can rely on the 90 hp Perkins diesel engine.
