More about the Contest 44

We offer this Contest 44 on behalf of the 3rd owner and in good state of maintenance. The Contest yard certainly needs no introduction among experienced sailors. The Contest 44 is very suitable for long, seagoing journeys, but certainly also for holidays or weekends on the water. The boat we offer has had constant professional maintenance and a number of investments have been made, such as the renewal of the genoa furling system and all navigation equipment. The vessel has a spacious deck layout and the teak deck is in good condition. The cockpit is spacious and offers sufficient room to sail comfortably. The winches can be operated electrically. Furthermore, the boat is equipped with a 100 hp Volvo Penta, and bow thruster.

Upon entry, the galley is on the port side with a 3-burner gas cooktop, oven, microwave, and refrigerator. On the starboard side is the navigation corner with the necessary renewed equipment. Midships is the salon with benches all around, and a large table in the middle. There are 2 cabins with a double bed, the owner's cabin at the rear of the boat in particular stands out. This cabin is very spacious, has a lot of storage space and a bathroom with an electric toilet and en-suite shower. There is also a separate toilet in the bow and the boat has large storage cupboards. The engine is located under the cockpit and is easily accessible. This Contest 44 is definitely suitable for longer stays on board and is well worth viewing. Viewing is possible by appointment via office White Whale Yachtbrokers Enkhuizen. Please contact us via Enkhuizen@wwy.nl or +31(0)228 855 380 for more information or to make an appointment for a viewing on board. Viewings are possible from Monday to Saturday.
