Catalina 36 Sold

The Catalina 36 that we offer on behalf of the 3rd private owner is well maintained and in sailing-ready condition. In recent years a few investments have been made. In winter 2024-2025 the boat received new Anti-Fouling so that the boat can once again provide years of sailing pleasure to the next owner.

From the dimensions one can clearly see that the American standard has been applied and the boat is exceptionally solidly built. This Catalina 36 is equipped with a wing keel so that the draft is limited to only 1.35 and a large sailing area is accessible. Deck and cockpit are very spacious and entirely made of fiberglass so that the boat is very easy to maintain. All lines are led aft so that the boat is easy to sail. Loose cushions are available for the cockpit and in the harbor one can nicely relax afterwards at the beautiful cockpit table.

The interior is remarkably spacious. Upon entering, the galley is on the port side, equipped with all modern conveniences including a new gas stove/oven. The navigation area is on the starboard side. Amidships there is a U-shaped settee with two chairs opposite, which have been converted into a bench. Both tables can be lowered and converted into a bed, so that a total of no fewer than 7 berths can be created. Forward of the mast is the wet room with shower and toilet. Right in the bow is a cabin with a V-berth. In the stern is a double cabin with a very spacious bed. This area can be closed off with a folding door. The engine has recently undergone extensive maintenance and, among other things, has new engine mounts, and the propeller shaft bearings have been replaced.
