More about the Ann 35

ATTENTION: Fixed Price, List of works to be done available on request. Classic polyester round-bilge hull; this Ann 35 was designed by Belgian designer Dolf Martens, and built in 1980 by the Raemdonck shipyard from Burcht (Antwerp). Thanks in part to the good design, the yacht sails extremely pleasantly. Over the years, various improvements have been made. These include the installation of a new engine in 2006, the painting of the hull in 2010, the renewal of the interior in 1999, etc. The sails are up-to-date. The North mainsail is from 2002, checked annually and in excellent condition. The 130% genoa is new (2012) and the 150% genoa has a new UV strip (2012). The yacht is built for longer trips; the cockpit is relatively narrow and deep for comfortable cruising. The instruments are well positioned for reading under the sprayhood (2010). Under the cabin steps is the 25hp Vetus engine (2006). Propulsion is transferred via the grease-lubricated propeller shaft to a Max-prop propeller. As you step into the saloon, on the left is the spacious chart table with switch panel and basic instrumentation. Behind this is the pilot berth, which can be relatively easily converted into a two-person sleeping berth. To starboard is the wet cell with toilet and washing facilities. Behind the wet cell is a large storage space, where the fuel tank is also mounted. In the saloon to port is the galley with 3-burner gas stove (force-10) and refrigerator with freezer compartment, and sufficient work space. To port is the spacious seating area. In the bow is a spacious two-person cabin with sufficient storage space. The mattress length is 210cm. On deck lies a synthetic teak deck, non-slip. Various winches, as well as a track, provide sufficient options to trim the sails. The sail wardrobe is extensive. Full-batten (4) mainsail, 130% genoa, 150% genoa, (both furling), gennaker (80m2) and storm jib. This storm jib is set on the removable inner forestay.
