Vacance 1998 is now called Dutchess Solide

The Vacance 1998 is now indoors and new and better photos will follow.

Since 2014, the rights to the Vacance Solide series have been taken over by Dutchess Yachts in Grou. The yachts from the Vacance Solide series are semi-custom built. So this offered boat is a Dutch product and therefore a shipyard-built vessel. Not a boat welded together by a couple of brothers, but a reliably built ship with great experience.

The power source is a German-built engine based on the major brand DEUTZ. As part of a joint venture in which DEUTZ holds 51 percent, a new production site is currently being built in Changsha, which is expected to supply up to 75,000 engines for SANY by 2022. By comparison, DEUTZ currently supplies a total of about 10,000 engines to China. In addition, this beautiful engine is equipped with a Bosch fuel pump. The DEUTZ engine has been marinized by the company Vetus.

This Vacance 1200 is equipped with a completely new electrical system from Mastervolt. With various safeguards and an extra series-parallel switch and beautifully installed cables, resulting in a particularly reliable system.

With separate dual battery banks of 2 x 180 Ah house batteries and a battery bank of 4 x 50 Ah connected in parallel, there is plenty of energy on board. These batteries are of the AGM type. AGM stands for Absorbed Glass Mat. In an AGM battery, the battery acid is absorbed into woven glass fiber mats located between the lead plates of the battery. This is in contrast to other types of lead batteries (also known as 'wet batteries'), in which the battery acid is present loosely inside the battery.

The Wisser 8000 generator is a 2-cylinder Lamborghini engine, built to order for and marketed by MASTERVOLT. This allows you to stay unlimited without a marina with shore power. The Mastervolt combi inverter charger gives you the ability to continuously consume 1500 watts of power per hour from your batteries. A beautiful and reliable core power plant that also gives you the safety of having no gas on board your boat, allowing you to enjoy electric cooking on a fantastic 4-burner electric stove.

The saloon has plenty of daylight through large panoramic windows and there are sufficient ventilation options. The boat has no sun damage and no water damage near the windows. The bilge is dry and clean. The spacious kitchenette directly opposite the countertop provides seating for 4 people to dine at the table. The kitchen features a large countertop and has many storage cabinets. Combi microwave with grill and large fridge combi freezer compartment, and Pelgrim stove with 4 burners. The front cabin and the rear cabin/owner's cabin both have hanging closets and ample daylight and ventilation options. There is sufficient headroom throughout, and you can even turn around in the shower and separate toilet. These wet cabins also have a sink and washbasin units, as well as daylight and sufficient ventilation options.

On the exterior of the ship you have a luxuriously finished sea railing and a large, spacious rear sundeck with extra storage boxes for stowing items. The foldable radar arch makes the boat France-proof, and the many safety handrails placed all around make the boat extra safe. The dashboard is nicely complete and clear, with a large rudder position indicator and chart plotter.
