Koopmans designs are well known all over the world. They are renowned for their excellent seaworthiness and sailing characteristics. This Sentijn 37 MKII is built in full Epoxy composite by K&M Yachtbuilders in Makkum (NL). The rig is strongly built and features a hydraulic backstay trimmer and a cutter stay for the cutter jib. The sellers have maintained the boat very well and professional service is always carried out when necessary. In 2009 a maintenance free Flexi teak deck is laid. March 2017 a new coat of antifouling paint is applied. The interior is nicely finished with American Cherrywood. The cosy salon has a nice settee with foldable table in the center. Throughout the salon and aft there are well placed shells for storing books etc. Behind the head is a bunk that has been adapted for storage. This can be easily change back to a single cabin. This yacht also is provided with heating and sufficient ventilation flow. The navigation instruments are all Raytheon and include an autopilot. For long sailing trips there is a windvane on the stern. On the bow there is a anchor with a long chain, easily operated with electrical windlass. Also a sternanchor is ready. The Volvo Penta MD2030 is placed amidships and it’s cover smartly integrated in the galley. Combined with the saildrive this is the perfect place to keep the boat well balanced and gives good maneuverability. For those whom seek a a ready to go quality yacht, this Koopmans 37 Sentijn MKII is certainly worth considering. This yacht is CE- A, ocean-going and ready to go.
