More about the Van De Stadt Rebel 41

Always wanted a nice classic sailing yacht? This is your chance! We can offer you a very nice van de Stadt Rebel 41. I am sure you have seen the pictures already and as pictures say more than a thousand words, I think there is no arguing about it that this Rebel 41 is a very beautiful ship.  The sleek lines, the shiny red hull, with ship you are guaranteed to have the full attention in every marina you enter. And on top of that, she is a van de Stadt design so the sailperformance is a given. She is a Grand Dame of a certain age indeed but that does not mean so takes it slow now, she still does beat a lot of modern ships, no matter you are sailing up or downwind.

The ship has been from day one within the same family of ownership and they invested lots of effort and money to keep her in tip top shape. The hull and superstructure is repainted in 2018, the engine is replaced and the saildrive is overhauled, including a new gator. Furthermore, in 2000 a complete new Proctor rig is installed including new sails in 2013. In short, all that needs to be done plus some extra is taken care of.

The cockpit is a-typical and divided in two sections. Which actually makes sense in a way that the crew will never be in the way of the person at the helm. Smart design when you think of it.

The Inside the ship you’ll obviously find an old-school interior layout with two pilot beds under the cockpit settees. Further forwards a large navstation at starboard side and a galley at port side.

Amidships a cosy saloon with comfortable settees and a table in the middle. Nice feature by the way is the diesel heating placed there. In the forward section of the ship you’ll find a separate toilet and in the forepeak a two person bed. Of course, the much needed storage space can be found throughout the ship which makes here an excellent long distance cruiser as well.

Always dreamed of owning beautiful classic designed sailing yacht but a bit worried about the maintenance and such,  this is your chance! The owner already took care of the work involved and now she is ready to sail with many carefree years ahead of her.  The engine, hull, and a completely replaced rig, it is all been taken care of.
