More about the Van De Stadt 34
Van de Stadt's design offers a lot of sailing pleasure because of the excellent sailing characteristics and the maneuverability on the engine. The deck layout is practical and the placement of the fittings is well chosen. All halyards, trim and reefing lines are led to the cockpit and mainsheet and genoa sheets can be operated from the steering position so that the boat is also easy to sail solo. The genoa is placed on a furling installation. The mainsail is quick and easy to reef from the cockpit. The mast is firmly braced and equipped with extra back and stern stays to prevent the so-called "pumping" of the mast in bad weather. The interior is remarkably spacious for a boat of this length. The salon has two large sofas with plenty of storage space. To port is an L-shaped galley with a sink, cool box, and 3-burner stove. The wet room with washbasin is easily accessible and there is sufficient room to move. To starboard is the navigation corner with switch panel and necessary navigation equipment. In the bow is a cabin with a double bed, and in the stern a single bed. 2 additional sleeping places can be created in the saloon. View the full ad for detailed information.
