Storebro Royal 33 Sold

Newly listed for sale, this beautiful yet lesser-known Storebro Royal 33. Unknown, and that's a shame, because it was built to a very high standard by a renowned shipyard in Sweden, with certification from "Det Norske Veritas". In terms of quality, this sailing yacht can easily compete with Hallberg Rassy, Malö or, for example, Najad.

The current owner (since 1998) has maintained the boat with great care and kept it up to date. For instance, a new Volvo Penta D2-40 diesel engine has been installed, and the list of renewals is extensive. Every winter since 1998 she has been stored in an insulated hall and has seen little use in salt water, which is reflected in the beautiful shine of the gelcoat and the undamaged interior.

As soon as you step on board, you immediately notice the Esthec composite deck, beautifully and neatly laid, no maintenance required apart from regular cleaning. You step into the safe, high center cockpit and immediately feel at home. Here, there is enough space for 2 - 4 people to enjoy a beautiful summer day. This cockpit can be closed off with a good cockpit tent, so in bad weather you have extra interior space at your disposal.

Going down the stairs you enter the cozy saloon, on your right a cleverly arranged navigation corner, and further back through a passage under the cockpit bench you reach the aft cabin, where two people can sleep comfortably.

In front of the saloon is the wet room with toilet and shower facilities, and before that the second, lockable cabin with a double bed. Back in the saloon and in the passage towards the back, you can open the side of the engine room, where you'll find a brand new, spotless Volvo Penta D2-40 with only about 700 running hours. Clean, tidy, reliable!

The sails (mainsail and Genoa I) were renewed not long ago and crackle under the sail cover, the rigging has been replaced, as has the lifeline. Safety above all. In short, you get a boat where all you need to do is load your belongings and enjoy your new journey.
