This 2014 Beneteau Sense 50 that was built for people who want the romance of sailing without the hard work.

This is not a traditional 50-footer with a dark cave below and a cockpit that feels a mile from the water.

The Sense 50 was designed by Berret Racoupeau and Nauta as a new kind of cruising yacht: bright, open, easy to handle, and unusually livable. Wide beam carried aft, twin rudders, a lowered cockpit, and all living space pushed forward create a loft-like interior and a huge outdoor salon that flow into each other with only a few shallow steps between them.

With the Dock & Go manouvering is easy. A joystick coordinates a 360-degree pivoting saildrive with the bow thruster, so you can spin the boat in its own length, slide it sideways, and park a 50-footer in a tight berth in a crosswind without drama. Couples handle her. Guests stop looking nervous. Marina arrivals become part of the pleasure instead of the ordeal.

Furling mainsail means you never have to leave the cockpit to reef or put the main away. Roll it in, roll it out, trim from the helm. Combined with four electric winches and a furling headsail, this is short-handed sailing the way it should be: confident, fast to set, fast to reduce.

Teak decks finish the picture. Warm underfoot, elegant in harbor, and the right surface for a boat whose cockpit is meant to be lived in — dining, sunning, entertaining, and watching the sunset with your feet almost at water level.

This is the Sense idea at its best: performance that is honest and enjoyable, comfort that is genuinely spacious, and systems that let two people sail a 50-foot yacht as if it were much smaller.

Engine is 75 hp Yanmar Diesel + Dock and Go -system. Low hours, excact hours need to be verified.  

This yacht has been in heated storage unused for past ~6 years. Before that she was in private use here in Finland, where the season is short, only from May to September. The Baltic Sea has almost no salt. There is no sun burns and/or salt damages in this yacht! She has the shallow keel option, perfect for coastal cruising.
