ALMERIA (ES)
This Oyster Lightwave 395 “Zebedee” is in acceptable condition but in need of general refurbishment and maintainance. Hull made of GRP with 3/4” balsa core. “Zebedee” sailed in 2001-2002 from UK to New Zealand. Complete navigation equipment Raymarine updated 2018. Pending refit jobs: Yanmar engine in need of complete service. Mast hole on deck to be revised (some water coming in). Batteries, fridge, boiler and some sails probably to be renewed. Minor restauration jobs out- and inside regarding woodwork and GRP deck and hull. Oyster Marine is a prestigious british yacht builder, producing high quality yachts since over 50 years. Now specialized in luxury superyachts, this Oyster Lightwave 395 was produced between 1988 and 1990 and 33 examples were sold and most of them are still sailing. Designed by Carl Schumacher here we have a typical cruiser/racer concept of the late eighties with excellent sailing performance and lots of comfort inside. Zebedee is now waiting for a new technically skilled owner, prepared to undertake a serious refit and face restauration costs. Only for sale “AS IS”, this means that a survey is only possible inside mooring. No possibility for engine starting (batteries has to be renewed) lift-out or sea-trial.
